Jen Hatmaker Says her photo perfect life in the middle of the night when she caught her husband and whispered to another woman on the phone.

In her new memoirs ‘Awake’, the HGTV star describes the shocking moment she discovered her husband of 26 years, Brandon -HatmakerWas cheating. Jen says at 2:30 am in July 2020, she woke up by her husband who whispered in the phone … “I just can’t stop.” When he drove asleep, smelly of drinks.

Jen remembers that he spent the next four hours digging Brandon’s computer, where she discovered what she calls a “trail of betrayal”, including a long -term affair and lush gifts that the family left in financial chaos. By the morning she kicked him out of their house in Texas.

The star “My Big Family Renovation” says that the affair was only the last blow in a marriage that was already in trouble. They had not had sex for two years, and despite the marriage advice, Jen now realizes that the red flags were everywhere.

Jen claims that Brandon did not make any effort to reconcile and was engaged to another woman within a year. In the meantime, Jen says that she is fighting depression and fear, and only raised five children during the pandemic.

Jen says she broke the ties with the church they founded together, again found love with the author Tyler MerrittWelcomed her first grandchild and is determined to never ‘outsource’ her life again.
