Shudder series ends after four seasons

“Creepshow”, the macabre anthology series on Shudder, is officially in the grave.

A source close to the network confirms that the series will not take place after four seasons. The show was launched in 2019 by Greg Nicotero and lasted 23 episodes and two specials, in 2023 in 2023 after a fourth season.

Although no official end of the series was announced, the source says that the series was only planned for four seasons.

To alleviate the blow to fans, a Blu-ray box set of the entire series-applicable “Creepshow Complete Series” will be released on November 11.

“Creepshow” was based on the Stephen King and George A. Romero Anthology film from 1982, which produced “Creepshow 2” from 1987, as well as “Creepshow 3.” From 2006 “The third film was not involved in the duo.

The series included original stories and adapted stories from authors such as King, Joe Hill, Nicotero, Rob Schrab, Dana Gould, Heather Anne Campbell and much more. Directors included Joe Lynch, Nicotero, John Harrison, David Bruckner and Roxanne Benjamin.

Nicotero, the Special Effects Guru, who was also an executive producer and director on ‘The Walking Dead’, has often mentioned the original ‘Creepshow’ as a favorite scary film.

” Creepshow ‘is a project that is very close to my heart! It is one of those titles that embraces the true spirit of horror … Tension and chills celebrated in one of the true arts, the comic book comes to life! I am honored to continue the tradition in the ‘Spirit’ in which it was created, “Nicotero said in a statement when the show was announced.
