Jimmy Kimmel ‘must retire for one soppy reason’
Dad-van-Vier Kimmel had two of his children katie and her brother Kevin, 31-with ex-wife Gina Kimmel.
Katie and her husband, Will Logson, whom she married in a private ceremony in Las Vegas during the COVID-19 Pandemie in 2020, welcomed their daughter just when filming would start in one of Kimmel’s shows.
Kimmel explained his absence with typical humor: “My oldest daughter – you know, people don’t realize, people who know I have two small children, they don’t know that I have two older children. My oldest daughter, she is 83 years old. Her name is Katie. Katie and her husband had a baby girl in the time that we were shooting our show last night.
Kimmel also has two younger children – Jane, 10, and Billy, eight – with his current wife Molly McNearney.
In 2021 the host joked about the then marriage of Katie The Ellen Degeneres Show: “She actually became 30 weeks ago, which is strange to have a 30-year-old daughter. And she is getting married this weekend, in fact, which is a big problem.”
Congratulations by degeneres, Kimmel responded with a characteristic sarcasm: “People keep saying congratulations. I don’t know what I congratulate for.
“Congratulations on raising a person who is attractive enough to be taken by one person?
“It’s not like we’ve lost her, you know? It’s not like we’re selling a houseboat on eBay or something. But I think that is congratulations.”
