Naomi Judd once shot a gun on husband Larry Strickland for cheating

Naomi, half of the Grammy-winning duo The Judds, met Larry in 1979 and married him ten years later.

In her memoirs from 1993, Love can build a bridgeNaomi told a painful episode that ignited a fierce confrontation.

A woman had called their house and confessed her love for Larry, who sent the singer in an anger. She remembered that she had torn photo reminders of their shared life and threw her husband’s possessions to the front lawn.

Naomi also shot a gun on Strickland while she emotionally accused him of it cheat.

Ashley Judd, the daughter of Naomi, also told the dark times in their household and mentioned that it felt like “hell” who lived in a room full of marital battle.

She said: “I heard everything. I heard the phone calls from mother on the road, I heard them fight, I didn’t hear them fight, I heard it all.”
