Skyshowtime’s ‘Where the Sun Always Shines’ adds Cast

European streaming service Skyshowtime has unveiled the cast and the first look images for the upcoming Swedish six-piece original series “Where the Sun Always Shines”, recorded on location in Mallorca and exclusively premiered on Skyshowtime on 10 November.

The show, made by director, writer and actor Felix Herngren (“Solsidan”, “Bonusfamiljen”), plays Claes Månsson, Suzanne Reuter and August Wittgenstein. They will Join Previously Announced Erik “Jerka” Johansson (“Bonusfamiljen”), Rakel Wärmländer (“Limbo”), by Lasson (“Tunna Blå Linjen”) and Lisa Linnertorp (“Solsidan”) in The Dark Comedy-Drama’s Magnusson, David Nzinga, Inger Nilsson, David Batra, Christopher Wollter, Elvin Philipson, Iris Herngren, Elis Gerdt and Wojtek Goral.

“Where the Sun Always Shines” follows Tom (Lasson) and Petra (Linnertorp), a successful couple that a large Ica Maxi shop has built up in Linköping and sold it for a recordom for a life of luxury in Mallorca in Mallorca with their sons. Ready to enjoy an eternal vacation, their lives suddenly take an unexpected turn during Tom’s 50th birthday party, causing his brother Timmy (Johansson) and his wife Maja (Wärmländer) to move their families to the sunny Spanish island, where Chaos follows.

The production company is FLX. The show was made and directed by Herngren and produced by Sussan Treschow (“Jana-Märkta För Livet”), with Skyshowtime and SVT as co-producers. Head of scriptwriter Maria Nygren (“Opinions Med Livet”, “Kärlek & Anarki”) is accompanied by scenarist Josefin Johansson (“Kärlek & Anarki,” “Top Dog”), and Jessica Ericstam (“Solidan,” opinions med livet “) is Vulinet.
