Queen Latifah says goodbye to ‘The Equalizer’

Queen Latifah shared her last thoughts about “The Equalizer” after Friday announced that the CBS action series would end after five seasons.

Latifah went on Friday Instagram To share some farewell words prior to the ‘The Equalizer’ series Final on 4 May. She wrote that recording the “kick-ass” roll of a former CIA employee became a civilian guard, Robyn McCall, was “everything that I hoped would be.”

Latifah then teased a project in the works that she ‘cannot wait to share’. To close her message, she wrote: “Don’t worry – I will soon be back in something new,” suggests another action project on the horizon.

“The Equalizer” is just one of a handful of projects that CBS has been newly canceled. The network has also recently put an end to “Poppa’s House”, as well as “FBI: International” and “FBI: Most Wanted”.
