ChatGPT’s new AI image feature is delayed for free users

OpenAi CEO Sam Altman announced on Wednesday that the rollout of the Viral New AI image functions of Chatgpt would be delayed for free users, with reference to a considerably higher demand than the company expected.
“Images in chatgpt are much more popular than we expected (and we had quite high expectations),” Altman said Post on X On Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the company announced the launch of the native image generation of GPT-4O, with which users can upload and change images, and said that it would soon come to all levels of Chatgpt. From Wednesday, OpenAI has only rolled out the function for subscribers of Chatgpt Pro, Plus, and teams.
In recent months, OpenAi has had to deal with similar hiccups around product launches, which repeatedly blames a lack of calculation capacity. Shortly after the launch of Sora in December, OpenAi was switched off registrations. Perhaps the planned project of $ 500 billion of $ 500 billion will help with those capacity restrictions.
