Keshet Pre-Sells Docuseries ‘Seven Wonders of the Ancient World’

Keshet International (Ki) has protected two extra pre-sales for the upcoming ‘Seven Wonders of the Ancient World’, a three-part premium history docuseries co-developed with Sandstone Global. In anticipation of his debut on the London TV gods, the series was sold in advance in Australia to publish Omroep SBS and in France to the Histoire TV channel of TF1, after the partnership of Channel Five in the UK

Produced by actual experts Sandstone Global and presented by Professor Bettany Hughes, the series is based on its bestseller with the same name, which has been on the bestseller list of Times since October 2024 and has been translated into ten languages. The docuseries follows the journey of Hughes to explore the seven miracles and to combine archaeological insights, new research and advanced technology. The most important sites such as Giza’s great pyramid and the statue of Zeus can be seen, with exclusive access to digital reconstructions and expert analysis.

The series, directed by David Lee and Executive produced by Hughes, Dixi Stewart and Ruth Sessions, was filmed over three continents in Turkey, Greece and Egypt. The World Première broadcast is planned for Channel 5 in Q2 2025.
