Irv Gotti’s brother reveals painful last days and cause of death

Lorenzo spoke on Thursday on the 2way podcast on Thursday, revealed that his brother on Chinese food chewed just before the tragic medical event struck.
He revealed that Gotti had avoided doctor’s visits, so he was not aware of his diabetes diagnosis for a while.
Lorenzo explained: “He is 54 – I believe he was diagnosed in his late 40s. But IRV does not go to the doctor, so that’s why he is diagnosed so late.

“We all have to go at a certain moment, we just really want to go on our conditions – and Irv, unfortunately, he went on his conditions.

“He ate a bunch of Chinese eating while playing poker and had a huge hemorrhagic stroke, bleeding on the brain.”

Lorenzo promoted the podcast on Saturday and called it a must-hear discussion about life, health, inheritance and protective families.
It also touched on the management of diabetes to prevent life -threatening stroke and to remember Gotti’s inheritance.

Speaking in August 2023, Gotti – real name Irving Lorenzo – said: “Diabetes deteriorates my body. I have been diagnosed with diabetes forever – it is hereditary.
“When my (blood sugar) becomes too high, shot (from insulin). It is reversible, but you have to change the way you eat – all that.
“But do you know what F —– Up with diabetes? So everything you like or tastes good, terrible for you. What is some annoying S —-.”

After his death, Chris wrote a sincere tribute to his brother and praised his contributions to hip hop with fellow musicicons.
He wrote: “My brother Irv was not only a name in hip-hop he was hip-hop !!!! He built a legacy from nothing, changing the game and opening doors for artists who never had a voice.

“Murder Inc. was not only a label, it was a movement and Irv was the brain behind all this.
“His vision, his crowds and his passion made him one of the biggest to ever do it. The industry would not be what it is without him.”

He concluded: “You have Eff, my brother, and your impact will live forever. I always love you !!!!”
