Marcia Gay Harden to go stars in ‘Margo’s Got Money Problems’
Marcia Gay Harden is the newest addition to the cast of the upcoming Apple series “Margo’s Got Money problems.”
Variety Has learned that Harden Gastster will include Elle Fanning, Nicole Kidman, Michelle Pfeiffer, Nick Offerman and Thaddea Graham. Based on the novel of the same name by Rufi Thorpe, “Margo’s Got Money Troubles” was collected in February 2024 for eight episodes at Apple TV+.
According to the description of the novel’s plot, it focuses on Margo Millet (Fanning), the daughter of a Hooters-Serverster (Pfeiffer) and an ex-Pro wrestler (supply man). Now an unemployed single mother in her early 1920s, Margo is struggling to make ends meet, so she launched a only fans account. When her father comes back to her life, she starts to include his lessons from the Pro thrust world in her only fans work, which leads to unexpected success.
Harden is no stranger to the Apple public, because she has appeared in all three seasons of the ‘The Morning Show’ series. Her work in the show has earned her two Emmy nominations for the best guest actress in a drama series. Recently in television she played two seasons in the CBS dramedy “So Help Me Todd”. Harden has also received Emmy nominations for “The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler” and for a guest in the lead role in “Law & Order: SVU.” She won the Academy Award for the best supporting actress for her work in “Pollock” and was nominated in the same category for the film “Mystic River”.
She is reputed by Independent Artist Group, Framework Entertainment, Schreck Rose and the Initiative Group.
David E. Kelley writes, performing executive and shows ‘Margo’s Got Got Money problems’. Fanning, Kidman and Pfeiffer will all produce Executive in addition to the leading role. Brittany Kahan Ward and Dakota Fanning Executive produce Pictures of the Fannings via the Lewellen. Per Saari from Kidman’s Blossom Films -Executive, together with Matthew Tinker produces for David E. Kelley Productions. Thorpe and Eva Anderson are also executive producers. A24 is the studio.
