6am Wake-up calls, cell tossing and suicide anxiety
Sean “Diddy” Combs languishes behind bars after a federal judge rejected his $50 million bail proposal.
And now RadarOnline.com can reveal brutal prison rules the disgraced rapper is ordered to follow him as he awaits trial in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn federal sex crime charges.
According to the prison’s Admissions and Orientation Handbook, Diddy must wake up at 6 a.m. every morning “to participate in meals and to work.”
The manual states: “A general wake-up for all inmates is 6:00 a.m. It is the inmate’s responsibility to attend meals and work. Inmates who are assigned a job and do not report to work are subject to disciplinary action.”
Diddy, 54, will also be subject to regular searches of his cell to ensure he is not in possession of any contraband — including alcohol, drugs and other items not approved by the Metropolitan Detention Center.
The A&O Handbook continues: “Staff may search an inmate’s living and working space and the personal items contained therein, without prior notice, at random and without the inmate’s presence.
“The property and accommodation will be left as close as possible to the same conditions as found.”
Meanwhile, the imprisoned music mogul will also be offered suicide prevention services like him is behind bars pending trial.
According to the Associated pressAt least four inmates at MDC Brooklyn have died by suicide in the past three years.
To prevent more suicides, the A&O Handbook says: ‘If you feel a sense of hopelessness or start to think about suicide, talk to a staff member.
‘Help is available and actively seeking help is a sign of your strength and determination to overcome.
“If you believe you are in immediate danger of harming yourself or someone else, please contact a member of staff immediately.”
MDC Brooklyn has also banned porn – meaning Diddy, who is reportedly into it sex-filled “freak offs” years before his arrestmay not possess photos or videos “depicting sexual acts.”
The prison manual reads: ‘Nude or sexually suggestive photographs raise particular concerns about personal safety, security and good order, especially when the subject is or could reasonably be construed as a family member, friend or acquaintance of an inmate.
“For these reasons, an inmate may not be permitted to hold, receive or possess a personal photograph in which the subject is partially nude or nude, or where the photograph depicts sexual acts such as sexual intercourse, fellatio or sodomy.
“These materials will be returned to the sender upon receipt at the facility.”
The food choices Diddy is offered at MDC Brooklyn are also a far cry from what the embattled record producer was likely used to before he was taken into custody by federal agents on Monday evening.
According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons menu, Diddy will be served breakfast, lunch and dinner while behind bars at MDC Brooklyn.
His breakfast options include fruit, cereal, breakfast cookies, low-fat milk and coffee.
Lunch options, depending on the day of the week, include scrambled eggs, a chicken wrap, a chicken patty sandwich, a black bean burger, fried chicken, fried fish or beef tacos.
He is also offered coleslaw, cookies, fruit, green beans, pinto beans, rice, green peas and corn.
As for dinner each night, the disgraced rapper can choose from chilli mac, Sailsbury steak, roast turkey, pasta, beef and broccoli or chicken fried rice – while Diddy is served cheese pizza and spinach at the weekend.
RadarOnline.com also obtained a copy of MDC Brooklyn’s commissioner list.
According to the listing, Diddy can purchase a number of items from prison for between 55¢ and $88.40.
The commissary items include postage stamps; drinks; food and meals; miscellaneous; snacks and sweets; clothes; health and hygiene articles; medications; copy cards and religious objects.
While the cheapest commissary item is a 55¢ stamp, the captured record producer can also purchase the most expensive item, a Sandisk MP3 player, for $88.40.
If RadarOnline.com reported, MDC Brooklyn has been branded “hell on earth” and a “ongoing tragedy“Since before Diddy came along locked up his followed arrest on Monday evening.
It’s the same prison in Brooklyn Ghislaine Maxwell62, and R Kelly57, has served prison time for sex crimes, and at least six MDC Brooklyn employees have been charged with crimes in the past five years.
Uriel Whyte, a 37-year-old inmate, was also stabbed to death in the prison in June. Another inmate, Edwin Cordero, 36, died after being injured in a fight in July.
