‘Daddio’ (2024)

Daddio Is about the same as a movie becomes. Almost the entire duration is spent in a taxi, like the driver, Clark (Sean Penn), speaks with his passenger (Dakota Johnson), during a very long drive from the airport. Writer and director Christy Hall Get the most out of her two leads, but the film is not dependent on their star power. Instead, Penn disappears into the blue person of his character, while Johnson is convincing like a woman trying to sort things out about her life and herself.
The public is essentially a fly on the wall for their interactions, because the passenger slowly shares more details about himself and with which she has to deal with. Clark is a bit more open and he leaves the impression that this is not the first in -depth conversation that he led from the front of a taxi cabin. This is not a film that tries to surprise the audience, but viewers can be impressed by how much drama it gets from so little budget.
Daddio flies on Netflix.

James Michael Sythe (Gabriel Basso) The man is justified for killing his girlfriend, and the public prosecutor, Faith Killebrew (Toni Collette), hopes to use the controversial case to continue himself to win an election for public prosecutor.
Justin Kemp (Nicholas Hoult) is the titular second jury member during the trial and he has a big secret. Not only was he present at the bar where Sythe was last seen with his girlfriend, he may have accidentally killed her himself while he drove home drunk. Justin does not want an innocent man to suffer from what he did, but he also does not want to destroy his own life by confessing. As a compromise, Justin does everything in his power to convince the jury that James is innocent, but it is a tough fight from the start. Will justice prevail? And if so, who serves the best – James or Justin?
