3 new Netflix shows with at least 90 percent on Rotten Tomatoes (August 2025)

In August, Netflix had no new or recurring original shows that found more than 90 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

Even the hit Wednesday Only 83 percent scored for the second season earlier this month.

Fortunately, there are two new Netflix shows of external studios that have at least 90 percent on rotten tomatoes. But we had to get the criteria for one of those shows like we have never had Fudd before.

Because adding a third new show on or above 90 percent was not an option, we added an older Netflix series to end this month’s Roundup.

‘Love Life’ season 2 (2021)

Rotten Tomatoes Rank: 95 percent

As an example of how difficult it is to achieve a high score in rotten tomatoes, The first season of Love Life only had a rank of 63 percent. Season 2 was largely a different show with a new cast and a new story that roared from the gate with a rank of 95 percent on RT. That is very impressive by every metric.

Anna Kendrick Repeat briefly her leading role as Darby Carter to set up the main character of season 2, Marcus Watkins, (William Jackson Harper). Marcus is married to Emily Hexton (Maya Kazan), but he makes a serious judgment in the opinion that leads to the end of their union. While Marcus picks up the pieces of his life, he has to determine what he is really looking for in a relationship and what it takes to make him happy.

In the absence of another new show with an RT rang, let’s celebrate the Sketch Comedy series I think you should leave with Tim Robinson Because you are so consistent hilarious. Tim Robinson Is central to most of his skits, and he always seems to find new variations of himself to play while he inhabits these characters.
