Excellent supporting actor in a limited or anthology series or TV film commentary (updated on June 18, 2025): With 126 entries that only fight six nomination slots, traditional prestige players such as Javier Bardem and Peter Sarsgaard Star Power bring to the field, where all eyes turn to a newcomer in the teenager who is ready to write history.

In just 15 years old, Owen Cooper emerged as the leader in the category for his emotionally radical performance in the British drama ‘Adolescence’ by Netflix. As the fragile and volatile teenage son in a story about trauma and sorrow, Cooper shows remarkable depth and vulnerability. His view has stunned critics and prizes on viewers, and if he is nominated, he would become the youngest actor ever nominated in this category. Ashley Walters, another striking one from ‘adolescence’, is strong in hunting. A mainstay of British television, best known for ‘Top Boy’, could be one of the few limited series this year to score multiple acting nodes in the same supporting category.

Oscar winner Javier Bardem (“No Country for Old Men”) brings hurifying gravitas to Netflix’s “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Mendez Story”, in which he plays the (alleged) offensive father in the center of the Infamous True-Crime Saga. He has joined the statement by Nathan Lane, whose nuanced turn in the same project could also bring the Emmy -Regulier to the Line -up.

On HBO Max, Rhenzy Feliz buzzes the entire season for his breakout role in “The Penguin”. Acting against Colin Farrell and Cristin Milioti, the rising star more than his own tribute and could earn his first NOM if the show performs well in categories. His competition can come from the same series, with Clancy Brown also in the mix for his threatening turn.

Apple TV+ has a strong slate of contenders, led by Peter Sarsgaard, who delivers a moral magnetic turn in ‘supposed innocent’. Wagner also get Moura and caught Rhames from Apple’s ‘Dope Thief’.

Hulu’s “La Máquina” also promotes a compelling candidate in Diego Luna and plays a morally compromised boxing manager whose choices bring the drama to dangerous territory. With Luna at the same time fighting for season 2 of Disney +’S “Andor”, his visibility on genres and platforms could give him a boost with voters and become a potential double nominated.

The Emmy’s Subsidiability period ends on 31 May. Nomination -voting runs from 12 June to 23 June, with official nominations announced on July 15.
