When Joel And Ethan Coen were on their game, they made some incredible movies together. O brother, where are you? was the adaptation of the Coen brothers The Odyssey is set in the South in 1937. George Clooney leads the way as Ulysses Everett McGill, a convict who convinces his fellow inmates, Pete Hogwallop (John Turturro) and Delmar O’Donnell (Tim Blake Nelson), to escape with him and recover a treasure.

The only treasure Ulysses wants is his ex-wife, Penny Wharvey-McGill (Holly Hunter), and their three daughters. He must win Penny back before she can marry another man. Luckily, Ulysses, Pete and Delmar are talented singers, and that will mean a lot to them during their comedic misadventures.
