Zach Shallcross And Kaity Biggar left season 27 of The bachelor is going strong after a series of dramatic endings for the franchise.
The sales manager met the travel nurse during the premiere of his season, which was filmed in the fall of 2022 and aired in January 2023. Shallcross and Biggar hit a rough patch on late-night dates when he confessed to Gabi Elnicki after previously deciding he didn’t want to have sex on the show. Elnicki was then angry with the leadership for betraying her trust and revealing what happened behind closed doors.
“Go inside [to] fantasy suite week, I just wanted to use that time – that intimate time – to get to know each other better on a more emotional level and just see what we are like, even outside the cameras. I was just looking forward to that.” Biggar told it Us of how Shallcross handled fantasy suites. “And obviously I was really excited about our day date and the kayak and all that, and of course that quickly turned a bit sour. But in the Bachelor world, things don’t always go as planned, so I don’t think I really went in with a lot of expectations. I just hoped that things would go smoothly and that we would definitely hit a hurdle. But in the end we came out stronger.”
The couple came out stronger than ever and Shallcross presented during the March 2023 final. During After the last rosewhich one broadcast live after the finalthe couple revealed their plans to move in together in Austin, Texas – and their hopes to get married in 2025.
