YG‘s make peace over a hearty meal… organizing a walk to end the years-long battle between rival Compton gangs – and breaking bread, or in this case, sandwiches.
The rapper led the truce and walked Sunday … along with members of the Treetop Pirus and Fruit Town Pirus gangs, family members and children as they traveled the streets of Compton.
During the walk, YG stopped to eat at Tam’s Burgers… and brought the whole crew into the little shop with loud music playing and the rapper even showing off some of his dance moves.
YG even grabbed a bite to eat at the store… and he wasn’t the only one: many protesters ate next to the rapper.
The walk started at Gonzales Park — a local hangout — where YG posed for photos… with several attendees rushing in and out of frame to get their photos with the star.

One of YG’s famous friends, The gamealso showed up to support YG’s event… taking photos under a shady tree to avoid the LA heat.
We’re told this was more than a symbolic gesture. YG helped facilitate long-term dialogue between the two sides – and recently convinced both sides to come to the table.

YG — whose new album “JUST RE’D UP 3” dropped Friday — is a socially conscious rapper… even shoot a music video alerting police during a Black Lives Matter protest, weeks after the 2020 killing of George Floyd
Sems, he works hard to keep the peace here too… and a full stomach always helps.
