Xilam Group and TF1 work together for ‘Turbo Twins’

The French Animation Studio Xilam Group works together with Omroep TF1 to develop a new CG animation series with the title ‘Turbo Twins’, which will appear in Xilam’s Line -up at the Annecy Animation Festival of next week and the associated MIFA market.

Focused on children from 6 to 10 years old, the 26-delivery of the action comedy is broadcast on the leading children’s slot of TF1, Tfou, with delivery expected between 2027 and 2028. Xilam will also supervise global distribution.

“Turbo Twins” takes viewers to Karston Speedway Summer Camp, where young Kar -Racers compete for a coveted place at the Nationals. The core of the story is the Turbo Twins, a teenage duo for those who lose is not an option. The mix of the camp of high-doctane racing, wild constructions and comic rivalry are the stage for a fast and humorous adventure.

The series is directed by Solène Azernour and developed from a Bible made by Philippe Rolland and Hervé Nadler, with contributions from Jessica Kedward and Kirsty Peart.

Marc Du Pontavice, CEO of Xilam Animation, noticed at the strong early reception of the project: “Since the introduction of ‘Turbo Twins’ on Cartoon Forum, our racer heroes have been a strong interest thanks to the fast, comic storylines and we can be this Viber series in this adventure in the houses of this adventure.’

Yann Labasque, head of the youth programming of TF1, added: “The show promises unique adventures aimed at family relationships, in which each individual has an important role for the success of the team. We can’t wait to see ‘turbo twins -innovative characters and exciting stories to life, and parts of competition and friendship -audience.’
