The audience’s chuckles and applause grew loud moments later when Haines returned to give Goldberg a hug and Goldberg stood on stage with his mouth open.

“It doesn’t matter,” she said, before quickly continuing with “this is a wheel of authentic Parmigiano Reggiano from Italy, and this has been aged for 24 months and it is a testament to Italian tradition and quality.”

“So if you’d like to win a wheel like this,” she continued before Haines interrupted her with, “and eat Whoopi Goldberg!”

Goldberg also gave away Lavazza coffee, Barbera olive oil, Giusti balsamic vinegar and Ami Paris’ Fall/Winter 2024 clothing collection as more of her favorite things, before giving a shout-out to her All Women’s Sports Network. The AWSN has already launched in 65 countries and reaches more than 2 billion people.

Later in the episode, Goldberg locked herself in a wind machine, where she randomly selected an audience member to win a free trip to Italy.

But the episode wasn’t just about Goldberg giving away her favorite things. Cohost Joy Behar continued her long-standing tradition of gifting Goldberg her famous lasagna.

“Joy makes the best lasagna ever,” Goldberg declared.
