Elle Macpherson credited with an unconventional ‘holistic’ treatment plan cured her breast cancer – and RadarOnline.com can now reveal the team of doctors behind her apparent ‘miracle cure’.
The supermodel was diagnosed with breast cancer seven years ago, and although she was initially recommended by 32 cancer doctors to undergo treatments such as chemotherapy and radiation, the 60-year-old refused to follow their advice.
She says she is cancer-free thanks to an unconventional approach led by a team of doctors she personally assembled.

In an interview with Australian Women’s Weekly, Macpherson revealed that she had been diagnosed with HER2-positive estrogen-receptive intraductal carcinoma following a lumpectomy.
At the time, doctors reportedly suggested she undergo a mastectomy with radiation, chemotherapy, hormone therapy and reconstructive surgery.
Rather than follow the advice of more than twenty cancer doctors, Macpherson instead took “an intuitive, heart-driven, holistic approach.”

She said it wasn’t an easy decision to opt for a “holistic” approach instead of traditional medicine after being diagnosed.
Macpherson explained: “I took a holistic approach. Saying no to standard medical solutions was the hardest thing I’ve ever done in my life. But saying no to my own inner feelings would have been even harder.
‘Sometimes an authentic choice from the heart makes no sense for others… but that doesn’t have to be the case.
“People thought I was crazy, but I knew I had to make a choice that really resonated with me. For me, this meant addressing both the emotional and physical factors associated with breast cancer. It was time for deep, inner reflection. And that took courage.”

Her treatment plan was certainly unconventional – and included a general practitioner, a naturopathic doctor, a holistic dentist, an osteopath, a chiropractor and two therapists. She rented a house in Phoenix, Arizona, where she regularly met the “holistic” crew.
Among her colleagues was Dr. Zach Bush, a former internal medicine physician who has labeled chemotherapy a “business driven by the fear of death.”
Macpherson previously said: “I have since learned so much from my friend Dr. Zach Bush – a physician and internationally recognized educator and thought leader on the microbiome as it relates to health, disease and food systems – on the connection between our soil and our well-being.”

Bush previously claimed there were links between gut health and autism – and warned that antibiotics increase the risk of depression, although neither has been proven in high-quality reviewed studies.
Bush said on his website: ‘There has not been a cancer in the history of mankind that has arisen from a lack of chemotherapy in that person.
“We are not looking for the cause of our therapies. How can they ever be successful? Step one to beating cancer is to put those cells back into the community of your body.”
“Cancer is just the symptom.”

Another close friend who reportedly influenced Macpherson’s treatment was Dr. Sara Siso, a self-described “world-renowned herbal healer” who claimed she cured her own cervical cancer with juice cleanses and a “detox.”
Macpherson previously described her close friendship with Siso, saying, “My system also responds favorably to vegetable juicing, using recipes from my friend Dr. Sara Siso, a holistic health expert, plant-based healer and raw food chef.”

On Siso’s website, she claimed that in 1997 she “watched the doctors poison her sister Dina” with “chemotherapy, radiation and surgery” after a diagnosis of stage four liver cancer. Two months after Dina’s death, Siso was diagnosed with cervical cancer.
Siso said: “After witnessing what my sister went through, I decided to reject conventional methods and heal myself naturally.
“I thanked the doctor for my wake-up call and left the office with a smile on my face, knowing deep down that I could heal myself. I immediately started my detox program and within three weeks of the cleanse I was cancer-free.”

Siso wasn’t the only person who supervised Macpherson’s treatments, claiming they cured their own cancer.
Dr. Simoné Laubscher, a functional nutritionist and naturopath who helped formulate WelleCo brand beauty supplements, claimed she “successfully treated” her breast cancer using her “Rejuv Wellness vegan supplements.”
In 2021, Macpherson split with anti-vaxxer Dr. Andrew Wakefieldwith whom she had a relationship for two years. Wakefield falsely claimed there were links between the MMR vaccine and autism.
