Sister Wives Summary: Kody fears Robyn is being attacked at church
Kody Brown doesn’t think church is a “safe place” for him after three divorces — but he’s not a fan of his wife either Robin Brown also be present solo.
“When I met Kody, he was very involved in our church and in my opinion he was happy in our church,” Robyn, 46, said during the Sunday, December 15, episode Sister womenwhere consideration is given to where the couple stands within their church community. “I mean, I probably wouldn’t have considered marrying him if I didn’t think he was.”
Robyn, Kody’s fourth wife, explained that when their family went public with their polygamous lifestyle, it changed things for her husband, 55.
“I think the way our church responded to that really threw him off, and made him feel like, ‘Wait, who cares?'” she recalled.
Kody agreed, telling the cameras, “I noticed that my faith was starting to contradict the religious views, kind of like the gatekeepers.” He added that once the church started telling him to cut his hair or act a certain way, it was a turn-off.
After divorcing women Christine, JanelleAnd Meri Brown in 2021, 2022 and 2023 respectively, Kody’s distance from the church only increased. However, Robyn told her husband in Sunday’s episode that she wants to go back.
“I want to come sooner or later,” Kody told Robyn, who said she and their eldest daughters want to try out new places of worship.
Kody then teased, “Well, you don’t want to be without me for too long because I don’t want anyone to think you’re a single mom.”
The patriarch explained to viewers that “there are a lot of guys interested in Robyn,” who were “kind of trying to get around me and her.” The situation, he admitted, worries him.
“Because the first time I saw you at our church, we had that look, that connection,” Kody recalled to Robyn, who teased that she was the one who made the look.

Kody insisted, “Oh, no, no, no, no. I looked longer. By the time you looked away, I actually said, “That was probably inappropriate.” She is most likely married. ”
He got a big smile on his face before asking Robyn to share what it was like seeing him in church over a decade ago. “I want to know that God has been my wingman with you and no one can take you away,” Kody said.
Robyn also gushed about their connection, saying, “I was sitting there with my cousin. I looked around. I looked at you for a while.”

She remembered seeing Kody’s “laugh lines,” because I love laugh lines. And then you looked at me with a lightning bolt in front of my body.
Robyn later told the cameras that although she first saw Kody at church, she didn’t meet him and his first wife Meri, 53, until a month later “randomly” on their lawn.
Kody and Robyn ended their conversation by telling Kody that he doesn’t want “some guy” holding her “gaze” while she’s worshiping in his absence. “I’m a size guard now,” Kody said. “I protect pride.”
Robyn assured her husband that she would wear her wedding ring and tell everyone she is off the market.
