Sexual abuse case against Alexander Brothers fired in a technical manner
The window for the Adult Survivors Act (ASA) Was from November 2022 to November 2023. The Parker lawsuit was submitted in June 2024 under the similar law of New York City, the victims of Gender-Motivated Violent Rights Legislation (VGMVPL) . The two -year window on that law closes in March 2025.
Judge Lewis Kaplan chose the side of the defendants’ argument that the ASA precedes the VGMVPL, so it ruled that the court case was submitted after the window on the ASA closed. But Tal Alexander was fired without prejudices and Parker has the option to submit a changed complaint before February 14.
Parker’s lawsuit against the three brothers stemes from an incident in the fall of 2012. Parker claims that she and a friend were attacked in the apartment in the Manhattan van Eexander after they had received the party drugs ecstasy without their knowledge.
The complaint states that the friend left the apartment after he had felt uncomfortable with the brothers. Parker claims that she was raped by Alon and Tal, an attack that they believed was planned and facilitated by ears.
While ears and Alon have won a legal victory, The real deal reported that a woman a complaint filed against Tal on Monday in a court in Miami. She claims that she was being bullied in a tour of the house of ears, where she was attacked then.
Numer and ears Alexander were once superstars in the New York City broker, after they had made a name for himself Douglas Elliman. In 2022 they left the company – that meets one FBI Research into the time of the brothers there – to find Official partners, a luxury brokerage affiliated with Side.
Their lives began to unravel in June 2024 when the news broke that two women – Rebecca Mandel and Kate Whiteman – had tightened against ears and Alon Alexander in March. Parker brought her lawsuit after the Mandel and Whiteman law cases were reported by the Real Deal.
It came to a peak in December when the brothers were arrested for accusations of the national and federal sex trade, and since the arrests more civil suits have been submitted. They were denied bail earlier this month and are being held in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. A date for their process has not been established.
Their business partners officially left after the allegations have become public and the brokerage is no longer operational. The side sues Tal, ears and officially for the default of a promotion of $ 4.6 million.
The Alexanders have previously denied all the accusations of sexual attacks against them and have accused numerous and ears of the production of the case of default on the loan.
