Series ‘Tour de France’, global thriller set at Federation

Paris-based Federation Studios has unveiled a series of new series at the Taiwan Creative Content Fest.

During a presentation at TCCF, Federation Studios president Pascal Breton said a show from “The Bureau” creator Eric Rochant is in the works. Spy thriller ‘The Bureau’ has been remade for the US as ‘The Agency’. The new version will be “partly shot in Taiwan, partly in Europe and the Middle East,” Breton said.

“And this show will be in English. This show will be global, and there could be a very interesting collaboration between Taiwan and France. That’s where we would create a new Federation subsidiary in Taipei, and that’s where we want to create new seasons of a new show that could become a hit again worldwide. [the] first global show we produce, and then maybe an American version of it,” Breton added.

Revealing further details, Breton said: “It’s about the world of intelligence services, worldwide. It’s not just about France, it’s about the world. Because everything is of course global. Now, especially in the tension that you have between all the superpowers, it is global and everything is connected.”

“We tried to tell this global new world in an eight-hour show, a very tense world, which is good for drama, but sometimes not so good for democracy or life, but we have to deal with that. This is our world,” Breton added. The exact title is not yet known.

In addition, there is a fiction series about the most famous cycling race in the world, entitled “Tour de France”, which will be published next summer. “It’s a drama. It’s partially soapy in a way. But of course it’s full of action and drama, filmed by the guys who made ‘Lupin’ and also made two ‘Fast and Furious’ movies, so you can tell I want my cycling boys to go faster,” Breton said. .
