Haldun UluçÜlgen tells TMZ…he and his fiancée Amy Willoughby They didn’t care that the British singer’s biopic tanked at the box office – they loved it! And he assures us it has nothing to do with being “married” to Robbie, who has been an ordained minister since 2002.

Haldun is surprised the film hasn’t topped the box office competition, but he believes this is because people aren’t looking for something new and original – although he admits RW doesn’t have the star power here as it does in Britain. .
Haldun says too many people are jumping on Robbie’s CGI chimpanzee-starring biopic just because it’s trendy to bash a flop — but in reality, the haters haven’t even seen it to know what they’re rejecting.
He’s confident the film will find its way on streaming – with all the hate it’s received, people will be dying to see this ‘strange monkey movie’, and he’s now calling it – a future cult classic in the making!

As for Robbie’s impromptu “wedding,” Haldun is quick to explain to us: It’s not official, but the couple had already set June 4 for their Vegas nuptials… so it’s only a matter of time.
They’re aiming for the Mandalay Bay Hotel, a place that’s been close to their hearts ever since Robbie dropped a reference to it on his song “Me and My Monkey” – you could say this is the monkey-proven location for their big day!
