Richard Simmons’ autopsy shows his corpse ‘littered with abrasions’
Richard died a day after his 76th birthday. He thanked fans for the birthday wishes on social media earlier this week.
He said: ‘Celebrating birthdays. Birthday cakes and candles were made by the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. Later someone said: ‘Let’s bring presents for the birthday boy/girl’… that was a good idea. In 1893, two sisters Patty Hill and Mildred J. Hill wrote the song Happy Birthday to You. Whenever the song was played on TV, radio or in a movie, these sisters collected royalties.
“When I was teaching at Slimmons on my birthday, they had special cakes made for me. One was an airbrushed cake with my picture on it… the other was a Barbie doll and her dress was the cake… also How about it with that cake with a big disco ball on it? It was my birthday when we shot Groovin in the House… that was a three-dimensional cake three feet tall in the shape of one of my Dalmatians… You know, I cried. “
“Many of you have sent me birthday wishes on my Facebook and other platforms. I really appreciate that. I don’t know when your birthday is, but I wish you a happy and healthy birthday!” he added.
