Police announce that reports of a bomb threat during the Trump Rally are false

Meanwhile, law enforcement officials investigated the reports and determined them to be untrue.

Lt. Scott Skrynecki, a spokesman for the Nassau County Police Department, announced in a follow-up statement that the unidentified suspect questioned by police regarding the false reports was a civilian and not a member of a law enforcement agency.

He added that the suspect neither worked at the rally nor was involved in the political event.

Christopher Boyle, spokesman for Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman, also denied the false bomb threats.

Boyle told the Associated press: “No. Ridiculous. No validity.”
