Love Is Blind heads to Washington, DC in season 7 trailer
The Love is blind pods have officially opened in Washington, DC and, like season 7 trailer promises, there’s no shortage of drama in the singles’ search for love.
‘We’re busy Love is blind / to love we can find / at the altar we will decide, ‘ Lion31, says as he recites a poem to the other men in the pods. “And if we like it same girl / go back, she’s mine!
The Netflix experiment heads to the nation’s capital for season 7, with many of the participants working in government and even curious about the political leanings of their matches.
“Did you vote in the last election?” Monica37, asks one of her pod dates. (The camera cuts out before it responds.)
Elsewhere, 33 year old Brittany is clear about what she is looking for. “So obviously I’m a trophy wife,” the beautician jokes in a confessional.
Other cast members joke about their involvement in “a little love triangle” or “a throuple,” teasing possible overlaps in connections.
“Is he the best person for you or is he just the first person to tell you, ‘I love you?’” Leo later asks one of his dates.
Despite a lot of drama, it’s clear that several couples took the plunge and got engaged sight unseen.
“Things grow emotionally, physically, [and] especially in his pants,” Monica teases her fiancé.
However, other engaged couples ultimately question their husbands’ intentions and actions in walking down the aisle in the first place.
“I should have known this two weeks before our wedding,” 32-year-old Ashley tells her partner in tears.
Monica was also in tears at one point, saying, “I can’t believe this is happening.”
The Season 7 couples who say “I do” will join the growing ranks Love is blind success stories. There are currently nine couples who are still married, with two of them – season 3 Alexa And Brennon Lemieux and season 4 Bliss Poureetezadi-Goytowski And Zack Goytowski – welcoming the first Love is blind babies earlier this year.
All happily married couples now agree that love is truly blind for the show’s hosts. Nick And Vanessa Lachey agree that the experiment is a proven success.
“It’s fascinating,” Nick, 50, said exclusively We weekly in February 2022. “Especially considering the success of season 1 and seeing two couples in love who are still married to this day? If I saw that and was looking for love, why wouldn’t you want to be a part of that? You know, it’s proven to work!”
The first four episodes of Love is blind Season 7 premieres Wednesday, October 2 on Netflix.
