Lisa Marie Presley coped with Elvis’ death by ‘playing his songs drunk’

Oprah asked Riley if she had witnessed her mother “many or many times in that state of grief, crying to her father’s music.”

The actress responded, “Yes, I walked into her room and she had speakers – because this was back in the day – and she was sitting on the floor crying and listening to her dad’s music.”

In another clip, Riley revealed how she came up with the name of the memoir.

The Logan Luck actress said, “It’s funny because this is a song she duets with her father.”

“And she didn’t want to at first. And she was convinced to sing the song, and first of all, I think it’s a beautiful duet between the two of them. And second, when I tried to find out what the book was about me.”
