That same year, she announced her 2020 presidential bid Good morning America, although she quit a few months later because she didn’t have “the financial resources” she needed to continue.

Harris said in the December 2019 video: “I’ve taken stock and I’ve looked at this from every angle, and in the last few days I’ve come to one of the most difficult decisions of my life. As the campaign has done, over the years it has become increasingly difficult to raise the money we need to compete.”
