Jelly Roll calls X ‘most toxic’ app ever and says it’s shutting down

The singer-songwriter posted on X earlier Sunday … kicking it off by calling the platform formerly known as Twitter “the most toxic negative app ever – PERIOD.”

JR says the social media site isn’t the same as it always was. He always heard it was the Wild West, but it’s gone beyond that and just become a safe place for people to express all the vitriol. everyone would want to spit.

Roll ends his post by simply saying he’s done with the social media app… just to get away from all the negativity.

Worth noting…not the first time Jelly Roll has taken a break from social media. In April, his wife Bunnie XO told fans he quit after relentless bullying about his weight.

Some celebrities – like Taste Taste — came to my defense…but, Jelly Roll later said Variety the toxicity was terrible, but so was the addiction. Roll essentially said that he spent too much time scrolling, and that it wasn’t good for his mental health.
