Introducing Triggers, Mass UX Updates, and More

Hi, Tapfiliate users! We’re excited to share our latest updates and new features with you. Our team is constantly striving to make your experience with Tapfiliate as seamless and productive as possible. Let’s dive into what’s new!

What’s New?

Affiliate Postbacks and Email Notifications

We’re thrilled to introduce affiliate postbacks and email notifications (triggers) as part of our server-to-server (s2s) functionality.

What are postbacks?
Postbacks, also known as callbacks or server-to-server (s2s) conversion tracking, are URLs that pass information about conversions. They help track clicks on affiliate links and relay this information to advertisers.

With this new release, you get:

  • Tracking Clicks on Affiliate Links: Monitor clicks on affiliate links, even when working with intermediary advertisers. Our tracking link gathers click data from affiliates and passes it on to direct advertisers.
  • Triggers in the Affiliate Portal: Integrate Tapfiliate postbacks, which can be installed anywhere. This allows you to receive various conversion data and forward it via triggers (affiliate postbacks) to your affiliates.

WooCommerce HPOS Support

You asked, and we delivered! Our WooCommerce plugin is now compatible with the High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) plugin. After several user requests, we updated the Tapfiliate WooCommerce plugin to support HPOS, ensuring smooth workflows on your end.

Improved Filter Flow in the Reporting Section

We’ve enhanced the filter logic to help you better sort your data and create detailed reports effortlessly. Here’s what’s new:

  • New Filters in All Tabs: Date, Program, Source, Referrer, Audience, SubID Reporting.
  • Relevant Filters per Tab: Each tab contains filters that are valid for them (e.g., Date – Program/Status).
  • Persistent Filter Values: Filter values are saved in the query string and remain while you’re in the Reporting section. They reset when you move to another section.

Updated Commission via ‘conversion_sub_amount’ in API

You can now update commissions via ‘conversion_sub_amount.’ Previously, the only option was to directly update the commission ‘amount’ in the ‘update commissions’ endpoint. This new capability offers more flexibility in managing commissions.

Fixed Icon Issues in the Advertiser Portal

We’ve improved the icon display on the advertiser portal for a better user experience and a smoother working process.

Upcoming Features

  • New REST API for Advertisers and Updated API Documentation
  • Server-to-server (s2s) Integration for Advertisers, Affiliate Networks, and Publishers

Stay tuned for these exciting updates!

We’re always here to make your Tapfiliate experience better. Enjoy the new features, and happy affiliating!
