Garth Brooks’ ‘Good Guy image’ is at risk during a trial with a rape accuser
Mr. Nice Guy from country music Garth Brooks becomes nasty under the pressure of shocking rape accusations – and is now being convicted in the court of public opinion publicly identify his accuser.
The 62-year-old ‘Friends in Low Places’ singer put the Mississippi woman right in the crosshairs of his rabid fan base by filing a lawsuit federal court accusing her of “intentional infliction of emotional distress, defamation and false light invasion of privacy.”

He knows his fans adore the ground he walks on and love him as much as Swifties do Taylor Swift.
“He painted a bull’s-eye on this woman’s back.”
Douglas Widdorthe alleged victim’s lawyer – who RadarOnline.com will not identify himself – has now vowed to hit the guitar-slinging cowboy with legal sanctions.
“Garth Brooks just revealed his true self,” Wigdor fumed in a statement. “Out of spite and to punish him, he has publicly named a rape victim. Without any legal justification, Brooks has kicked her out because he thinks the laws don’t apply to him.”
Brooks vehemently denied the allegations and claimed he was a victim of extortion, saying the woman threatened to assassinate his character by “publicly making such disgusting and untrue accusations” unless he coughed up millions.
“It was like waving a loaded gun in my face,” Brooks said in a statement.
“Hush money, no matter how much or how little it is, is still hush money.”
