Garth Brooks calls rape case extortion and slander

Garth Brooks has responded to an allegation that he raped a make-up artist five years ago… calling the shocking accusation a complete shakedown.
Here’s the deal… the country star is being sued by a woman who claims she was his wife Trisha Jaarwood‘s makeup and hairstylist for years… before he allegedly raped her in a hotel room in 2019.
GB responded to the allegation on Thursday, not long after news of her lawsuit emerged, saying he has been “harassed endlessly with threats, lies and tragic stories about what my future would be if I did not write a check for many millions of people .” dollars. It was like waving a loaded gun in my face.”
In the documents, the woman claims Garth held her 6-foot-2 frame by her ankles and dangled her upside down while he penetrated her vagina, ramming his penis into her so hard it felt like she was breaking in half.
She claims it was business as usual after the rape, and that she did Garth’s hair and makeup for the event. She says she was facing financial problems and needed the work, and Garth took advantage of her financial situation.
Garth filed his own lawsuit against the woman about a month ago… accusing her of “extortion and defamation of character”… which was filed anonymously at the time “for the sake of the families on both sides.”
GB’s lawsuit makes it clear that the accuser knew she could do a lot of damage to Garth’s career and reputation if she continued with her accusations… which she reportedly planned to do without a huge payday from the millionaire.
‘I want to make music tonight. I want to continue our good deeds in the future. It breaks my heart that these wonderful things are now up for debate,” Brooks said in a statement. “I trust the system, I’m not afraid of the truth, and I’m not the man they portrayed me to be.”
