Police officers in Florida say that a man stole an ambulance and led law enforcement on a wild car pursued through the streets of Tampa … finish a can of beer before being dragged out of the driver’s seat and is thrown in handcuffs … and it is all on video.
TMZ obtained dashcam images from the police -on Saturday … and it shows Florida Highway Patrol Troopers who pursue the ambulance while the emergency vehicle runs stop signs, swings through the traffic, drives on the wrong side of the road and almost pours against motorists.
When the driver finally stops, you see him a canned drink – the police say it was a beer – before officers open the door and throw him on the floor.
We told us that the chase started on Saturday around 8:40 PM after Florida Highway says Patrol that they have received a warning on a Tampa Fire Rescue ambulance stolen from the HCA South Tampa Hospital.
The police say that troopers found the ambulance about 10 minutes after the call came in, and tried a traffic stop … but the driver fled in the ambulance.

Law enforcement says the 43-year-old resident of Tampa Michael J. Esquilin Was the driver here … and he was arrested for the accusation of burglary of an emergency vehicle, a large theft of an emergency vehicle, fleeing and obvious, driving while the driver’s license was suspended, opposes arrest and diz.
Police officers say that Esquilin officers said that he had drunk alcohol for the past two days and had stolen the ambulance after the first care providers refused him a lift home.
