Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks admits she didn’t vote until she was 70

While Nicks, now 76 years old, doesn’t have to worry about finally casting a ballot, she has other obstacles to focus on, especially her health.

The artist has suffered from terrible vision for years due to an advanced eye disease, which Nicks says started due to the use of glass contact lenses that she “forgot to take out” in the past.

Nicks recalled during an interview that her iconic band was celebrating the news that their album went platinum and partying for almost 48 hours straight, but she forgot to take out her contact lenses, which scratched her corneas and left her almost completely blind.

The band’s tour manager was able to bandage her eyes at the venue for the first Rumors World Tour date, which helped prevent her from losing her vision.
