Wild burning continues to turn in La County … But now there is a new unique piece of technology that has been created to extinguish dangerous flames with opposing force.
Steve Wolfa former coordinator of special effects and founder of Team Wildfiretells TMZ … he and his team have developed a vehicle with jet engine that is designed to combat forest fires, and it is now ready to be deployed.
Discerned “The Stormcell”, the unique machine is built to push back against the heavy wind that actively pushes the spread of forest fires … by using powerful jet engines to fall against an even higher power wind.
The storm cell can produce air up to 300 miles per hour … while using large quantities of oppressive chemicals to conquer the flames. The jet engines are mounted on an off-road vehicle that can easily weave through narrow areas, in contrast to a fire truck.

Wolf says that his truck costs no less than $ 150k to make. A few years ago he came to “TMZ Live” and showed us the prototype of the groundbreaking vehicle … and since then he has been fundraising to make the official version.
Steve built the Stormcell with a team of other special effects engineers, all of whom are working on important feature films. They started building on Tuesday and are ready to roll it out today.
Wolf says that he is in contact with La’s incident management team and fire -fighting community about where the powerful machine can best be used. He expects it to help protect evacuation routes, so that citizens can safely escape.
The invention comes as firefighters huge Blazes fighting in the LA area, some of which do not yet have to be completely enclosed.
