Emma Roberts And Cody Johannes have been packing on the PDA since their first social media post as a couple.
“Sweet sweet,” John captioned in August 2022 Instagram post of him who kisses the shore Holidays star on a boat. The intimate photo came less than a year later Our Weekly confirmed Roberts’ divorce Garrett Hedlund in February 2022. (The exes — who started dating in March 2019 — remained amicable as co-parents with their son Rhodes, born in December 2020.)
As for Roberts and John, the pair have been spotted together several times since becoming Instagram official. Roberts previously opened up about the challenges of dating as a public figure and wanting to keep her love life private.
“I never want to talk about relationships I’m in or that are ending or have ended. It’s hard enough just being with someone, let alone an audience,” she shared Cosmopolitan in May 2019, two months after she and Hedlund were first spotted together. “Growing up is hard. Sometimes it makes me sad that I can’t have a private moment. Thanks to Twitter and Instagram, there’s a whole other element where anyone can comment on what you’re doing, and no one knows the real story. That’s difficult.[…]I know what is true, and I know what happened in my own life, and that includes the people who love me and who I love.”
