Dogs show off Halloween costumes at Howl’oween Festival in Toronto
Werewolves, vampires and other ghosts are sure to make an appearance on Halloween night… but Saturday was all about dogs, with costumed creatures taking over Toronto.
The Howl’oween festival in a shared space in town known as The Bentway took place this weekend… with local vendors selling pet-related goods, prizes for pups entered in the costume contest – and plenty of dogs on hand. to parade their stuff.
Check out this rambunctious Rottweiler… dressed in a classic devil outfit and ready to devour some of the devilishly good treats the event had to offer.
Or this pup, with a pair of fake arms, jersey and football… who looks ready to make the next drive all the way to the end zone.
Naturally, some owners wanted to dress up alongside their dogs… like this couple who dressed up as a princess and knight – with their dog acting like a princess and snuggling up in their owner’s arms.
More iconic costumes from the event…Chucky the demented doll, Beetlejuice, a clown, a burlesque dancer and more.
And one particular pup looked like the best prize you could get from a claw machine… with an entire box machine built around the smiling dog.
The event took place from 12pm to 4pm and there were tons of costumed dogs in attendance…and you should check out our gallery to see the creepiest dogs Toronto has to offer!
