Biden’s Homeland Security boss caught himself eating sushi from Swanky Nobu

Mayorkas previously visited North Carolina on October 2, when he joined the Democratic governor Roy Cooper and President Biden for an air tour of storm-ravaged areas.

Lawmakers who oversee the Department of Homeland Security and serve in states ravaged by both Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton said the photos showed Mayorkas failed in his duty amid once-in-a-century disasters prevent.

Republican Congressman Carlos Gimenez of Florida told The Post from his home in Miami: “It just shows that he is not a hands-on individual. Over the last three and a half years he has shown himself to be totally incompetent at his job .”

Gimenez, who was scheduled to tour the devastation from Milton on Florida’s Gulf Coast with Sen. Marco Rubio on Friday, said, “To be honest, I haven’t seen it.”

“I’m seeing more, you know, it’s the mayors and the governors coming out, and the police and firefighters are the ones coming out that I’ve seen.”
