Bella Hadid wins Rookie of the Year for horse clipping
Bella Hadid fans certainly backed the right horse in supporting her… as she proved herself at the rodeo and won Rookie of the Year this week!
The model shared several photos of her new title…sitting atop a horse wearing a cowboy hat, tight jeans and fringed pants.
In her hand, Bella holds a gold belt buckle, with the words “Rookie of the Year” and the acronym “NCHA” – National Cutting Horse Association.
Horse heeling is the act of a rider and horse separating an ox from the rest of the group… full of quick jumps by horse and rider to keep the cattle from sneaking past them.

As for winning ROTY…Bella explains that she started competing after the meet Adan Banuelos — and about six months ago she learned she was in the running to win the prize.
Bella writes that she and Adan did everything they could to get her ready to win… and she finally pulled off the upset at a rodeo competition this week – galloping past the leader into first place and winning the belt buckle.
Hadid adds that she’s very competitive… but Adan has helped her embrace both the losses and the wins — and she just loves horses, so competing is the icing on the cake.
Last year we told the story… showing Bella and Adan hand in hand in Fort Worth,Texas. It’s clear that their relationship has grown tremendously in the ensuing months – and after moving to Texas, it seems that Bella is embracing the Southern lifestyle.
No need to beat a dead horse… but the rodeo Rookie of the Year is a multi-talented star!
