Southern Charm’s Leva Teases Conflict Between Taylor and Bachelor’s Salley
According to Leva Bonaparte, Southern charm Season 10 is going to be messy, partly because of the newcomer Sally Carson‘s drama with Taylor-Ann Green.
“It looks like she has it in for Taylor,” Leva, 45, said exclusively We weekly on Thursday, December 5.
The reality star noted that Salley – who fans may remember from season 26 of The bachelor – was stirring the pot when she joined Southern hospitality for season 2 last year. (In addition to Southern Charm, Leva stars in the spinoff, which follows the lives of her employees at Republic Garden and Lounge in Charleston.)
“Salley, I only knew her from working up front [at Republic] and I thought, ‘Oh, is this a beautiful girl,'” Leva recalled, noting that things turned sour when Salley, 29, started dating her employee. Joe Bradley.
Leva recalled “a lot of drama” after Salley’s brief romance with Joe. “I thought, ‘Let’s get her out of here.’ Not that she got fired or anything,” she continued. “I was like, ‘Not for me here.’”
Salley made a name for himself in season 2 of Southern hospitality when she kissed Gaston Rojas before going on a date with Joe – and then lying about it. Joe compared Salley’s actions to a “serial killer act,” promptly ending their relationship.
Salley dated Gaston after the incident, but they have since broken up. Taylor, 30, exclusively revealed to Us in October 2023 that Gaston is now her boyfriend, which will cause tensions between the women Southern charmwhich premieres Thursday.
“I think she’s a bit like that girl who says she doesn’t want drama, but she lives in drama,” Leva said. Us from Salley. “I’m like, ‘Well, you have to make different choices if you don’t want the drama.'”
The restaurateur teased that the feud between Salley and Taylor goes back before Taylor started seeing Gaston. Leva recalled that Taylor came to an event at Republic when she was dating “another guy who Salley is dating now.”
Leva told Taylor at the time, “I thought, ‘That guy’s drama.’ She says, “No, he seems so nice.” And then Salley comes in to talk to Joe and Taylor comes up to me and she’s like, ‘You know that girl slept with me? Sheep [Rose]?’ And I was like, ‘Joe’s girlfriend?’ And she said, ‘Yes, she did.’
Leva explained that there is “so much” between Salley and Taylor, dating back to when Salley slept with Taylor’s now ex-boyfriend Shep. (Taylor and Shep, 44, split in the summer of 2022 after two years.)
Southern charm fans will learn more about Salley’s new man this season – the one Taylor first dated. “It’s just business,” Leva said with a laugh, noting that the bad relationship between Salley and Taylor was “inevitable.”
Leva added that while she was “skeptical” about Gaston dating Taylor due to his past as a ladies’ man, she confessed, “I haven’t heard anything negative except from Salley, who also dated him for a long time. ”
She explained, “I think [Salley] was very interested in it, more interested than he might have been. And that is where the battle begins, not where it ends, but there it begins.”
Madison LeCroy exclusively served Us also about the Taylor and Salley drama, saying, “Salley definitely has it out for Taylor.”
She teased earlier this month that the tension stems from Salley “trying to warn Taylor, but Taylor isn’t having it,” seemingly referring to Gaston.
Taylor admitted it Us that she sometimes has arguments with Salley this season, but that this does not have a negative impact on her relationship.
“I had only met her briefly in the crowd,” Taylor recalled earlier this month. “So it was a little frustrating to have someone come in that I don’t really know and try to mess with everyone.”
She noted that she kept the drama “separate” from her romance with Gaston, who she claimed “understands the dynamic.”
Taylor insisted that Salley’s actions were “not an issue between Gaston and me.” It was just kind of an annoying mosquito where you said, ‘Just get out of here.’ Stop. Just stop. ”
