Shailene Woodley says talking about Aaron Rodgers’ romance makes her cry
Shailene Woodley looks back on her relationship with ex-fiancée Aaron Rodgers …and two years later, it’s safe to say she’s still pretty emotional about the whole thing.
The actress explained that she hasn’t shared much about the breakup because it always brings her to tears… but summed it up 2022 breakup after two years together by saying it just wasn’t right, even though the relationship was wonderful.
Shailene made it clear that there is no bad blood between her and Aaron, but somewhere else inside her Outside is allowed interview, she also opened up about a “really horrible, traumatic thing” that happened to her in early ’22, around the time she NFL star’s first divorce in February of that year.
She didn’t mention the name Aaron… but she did get serious about spiraling into depression and anxiety while stuck in a “toxic situation” at the time because her empathy kept her in the loop of caring for other people .
In the end it was her best friend and stylist, Kris Zerowho helped her through what she called the “lowest low of my life.”
Again, it’s unclear if Shailene was talking about Aaron specifically, but from his side, the relationship seemed to have served a purpose. In an IG post from that time, he said thanked the “Big Little Lies” actress for showing him “what unconditional love looks like.”
