The 2024 Bengals are struggling to get wins…but Chad Johnson warns the team not to shoot Zac Taylor — narrate TMZ Sports “Changing the coach won’t change anything.”
We caught up with the former Cincinnati superstar at LAX earlier this month … and just had to give his thoughts on the 4-7, underperforming Bengals.
Johnson made it clear that it has certainly been a disappointing year… but he is not yet ready to call for massive changes.
In fact, Ochocinco says he thinks there’s still an outside chance that Taylor can turn the ship around this year.
“We could run the last half of the season,” he said, “get to the playoffs and shock the world!”
If things ultimately continue the way they have been, Chad tells fans to stand by any brand of fire Taylor speaks.
“I don’t like that,” he said. “I don’t like that. We’re talking about a coach who is three, maybe four years away from taking us to a damn Super Bowl.”
Taylor and the Bengals still have six games left to really make Johnson look smart – starting with a key AFC North matchup against the Steelers later Sunday morning.
