Dave Coulier’s cancer diagnosis has led to an outpouring of support from his famous friends.
RadarOnline.com can reveal this after Coulier announced he was diagnosed with cancer in October, a long time ago Full house co-star and close friend John Stamos took to Instagram to offer his support and encouragement.

Coulier announced that he had been diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

As RadarOnline.com reported, Coulier, 65, revealed that he was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma after an upper respiratory infection caused severe swelling of the lymph nodes.
Shortly after Coulier’s diagnosis made headlines, Stamos, 61, shared a series of photos with his former co-star while pledging to support him in his battle against cancer.
The photos feature intimate moments of best friends together over the years, including shots of the duo making funny faces at dinner and a mirror selfie that Stomas took while Coulier was shaving his face.

Stamos told Coulier in an Instagram post that he would “stand by your side through it all.”

Stamos captioned the Instagram post: “My brother from day 1. I love you @dcoulier and I will be by your side.”
Fans quickly flooded the comments section of the post with well wishes.
One follower wrote: “These relationships that start at work and end up being lifelong friendships are extremely rare.. and quite beautiful. I love the brotherhood between you!!”
Another said: ‘He has a great support team and Bob watches over him! He’s got this!’ referring to the couple’s late co-star Bob Saget.

Followers commented on Stamos’ post with well wishes and prayers for a speedy recovery.

Coulier broke the news about his battle with cancer in an interview with People.
He recalled receiving the devastating news after undergoing a series of tests recommended by his doctor: “Three days later, my doctors called me back and said, ‘We wish we had better news for you, but you have non-Hodgkin lymphoma and it’s called B-cell and it’s very aggressive.’
“I went from, I got a little cold to I have cancer, and it was pretty overwhelming.”
The Full house star added: “This has truly been a fast-paced rollercoaster ride of a journey.”

After receiving his diagnosis, Coulier said he called his wife Melissa Bring, as well as friends in the medical field.
Together they vowed to address his condition “head-on.”
He said: “We all put our heads together and said, ‘Okay, where are we going?’ And they had a very specific plan for how they were going to handle this.”
Two weeks later, he started chemotherapy and shaved his head in what he described as a “preemptive strike.”

Coulier said his diagnosis was a “really fast rollercoaster ride” and “overwhelming.”

He further discussed the importance of sharing his diagnosis in an episode of his podcast, Rewind Full House with Marla Sokoloff.
Coulier explained: “I started the podcast wearing a hat, and I said, I’ve always been a man of many hats, but this hat has a special meaning because a few weeks ago I was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma stated.
“That was really a conscious decision: I’m going to face this head-on, and I want people to know that this is my life. I’m not going to try to hide anything.
“I prefer to talk about it, open the discussion and inspire people.”
