Detroit Lions’ James Houston denies cheating on himself during ‘SNF’ game

Detroit Lions linebacker James Houston is adamant he didn’t get No. 2 on the field on Sunday … and says the stain on the back of his pants was actually nothing more than a spilled sports drink.

Houston — the 217th pick in the 2022 NFL Draft — put all speculation to rest in a late X-post after Detroit’s come-from-behind win over the Texans … explaining the poop-colored mark on his white pants was just Gatorade.

“Yes,” he wrote, “I was on a Gatorade.”

“Just chilling,” he added.

Of course, a few hours earlier, many had thought he’d had a bathroom accident… because — check out a replay of a tackle he called for in the second quarter of the “Sunday Night Football” game at NRG Stadium made — it sure looked like he did.

But according to Houston… there’s no problem here.

The 25-year-old had one of his best games of the season despite the whole ordeal… a sack in the 26-23 win – so maybe it’s Gatorade’s luck?
