Who is Walker Lyons? Meet Rylee Arnold of the USC Tight End Dating DWTS
Freshman tight end from University of Southern California Walker Lyon wastes no time in making headlines off the field.
Dancing with the stars pro Rylee Arnold went public with Lyon in October 2024.
“Is this a hard launch?? 🤭❤️🔥,” Arnold captioned an Instagram post at the time with several photos of himself and Lyons. The duo was all smiles in the first photo, which showed Arnold cuddling with Lyons with her hand on his chest. He also quickly shared the post via Instagram Stories.
Arnold’s relationship confirmation came right after she teased a new man into her life.
“Alright friends, get ready for rehearsal while I discuss the date I had a few nights ago,” she shared in an October 2024 TikTok. “Fun fact: we hung out last night too.”
The DWTS Star noted that they “went out two nights in a row” and called the then-mystery man “easy to talk to.”
“We have so many similarities, that was so fun to talk about,” Arnold continued. “He is so sweet and humble and just has great qualities. So I’m very curious to see how this will all turn out.”

The college football player grew up in Folsom, California, and attended Folsom High School before being recruited to play for the USC Trojans.
2. He has had a successful football career so far
Even though he is only a freshman at USC, Lyons still had a very successful football background. He was named the All-American Bowl’s Man of the Year while playing in the 2023 Under Armor All-American football game, a high school all-star game.
3. He and Arnold have similar religious beliefs
Although Arnold has been open about his membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lyons is also a Mormon.

4. He has already been on a mission trip
Lyons’ biography at USC shows he graduated from high school in 2022 and served a mission in Norway before starting college. Trojans football coach Lincoln Riley spoke about the “unique” situation of signing Lyon before going on a mission trip.
‘I think he did well to stay in shape during his mission. You can see that he hasn’t gotten crazy out of shape,” the coach said in an interview in August 2024. “Now there is a big difference between exercising and getting back to work. He handled it well. He’s a tough guy.”
5. He comes from a large family
According to Instagram, Lyons is one of five siblings – including sisters Kapri and Kassidy (who is married to brother-in-law David) and brothers Ryder and Timothy. Arnold, meanwhile, has three siblings, including DWTS alum Lindsay Arnold who spoke about her little sister’s romance in the comments section on Instagram, writing, “I CAN’T GET OVER YOU TWO”
