Scientology doctor added to lawsuit following tragic death of Whitney Mills

In the months before her death, Mills reported severe psychological symptoms, including anxiety, insomnia, hallucinations and the feeling that her skin was burning. Despite signs that she might be going through a mental health crisis, Dr. Minkoff and LifeWorks focus on physical diagnoses, including Lyme disease, Babesia (a co-infection with Lyme) and other conditions, the complaint shows.

According to the complaint, the treatment plans included controversial and unapproved therapies such as ivermectin, herbal remedies and experimental peptides, rather than traditional mental health interventions such as antidepressants or anxiety medications.

The complaint also shows that Mills regularly met with Dr. Minkoff communicated, expressing her struggles with mental health and the ineffectiveness of her treatments. RadarOnline.com previously reported.
