Robin Williams’ legacy of love and laughter continues to live on through his immediate family members who admired him most. After the actor died by suicide in August 2014, his three children, Zak Williams, Zelda Williams and Cody Williams, have shared a glimpse into their grieving journey. They also continued to honor their father […]

Williams shared Zak with his first wife, Valerie Velardi. Zak has two half-siblings, film directors Zelda35, and Cody31, which Williams shared with his second wife, Marsha Garces Williams.

Zelda went to work on Sunday X to debunk a viral image of Williams with what an X account described as his “pet monkey” in the days before his death. Zelda said her father never had a monkey.

“It has been brought to my attention that some likely AI written BS like this is going viral,” she wrote, retweeting the post. original post. “Dad didn’t have a pet monkey, NO ONE should, and if you’re ever tempted, support local exotic animal rescues instead. That’s his Night at the Museum costar, who now lives on one.”

“And since there will likely be more completely false or poorly researched posts going viral on the anniversary of Dad’s death, you might just assume they’re all BS (they usually are),” Zelda continued. “Ignore the creepy robots trying to edit your clicks and do something nice for yourself instead. I will definitely do that ♥️”

In 2019, Zak remembered his father in a interview op Good morning Great Britain on the occasion of the fifth anniversary of his death.

“It was sad to see someone suffering so much. As a family member and child, you want to do everything you can to ease and alleviate what seemed like intense personal pain,” Zak said.

“And there were times when it felt like there was helplessness on my part, I didn’t know what I could do, or how to best provide support,” he added.
