Jeff Bezos And Lauren Sanchez I don’t want to get married … and their wedding invitation says so much.
The billionaire and his fiancé sent wedding invitations so that they make it clear that they do not want gifts and instead make donations in honor of their guests to organizations that benefit Venice, Italy, where the wedding takes place.
The invitation, first obtained by ‘GMA’, contains a set of statues from Venice … channels and gondolas … plus falling stars, birds and butterflies.
Jeff and Lauren write: “We are enthusiastic that you come to us! We have an early request: please, no gifts.”

The invitation continues: “Instead, we make contributions in honor of you and thanks to you to make the trip to celebrate with us in Venice.”
Jeff and Lauren say they make donations to UNESCO Venice Office, Corila and at the International University of Venice. The company says that the organizations work to protect the heritage of Venice, to restore the vital lagune habitats and support research and study for sustainability.
The invitation also sheds more light on why Jeff and Bezos Venice have chosen to be linked … They say, “This magical place has given us unforgettable memories.”
