Lisa on Labubus and a new Blackpink -Album

While Blackpink is preparing for the launch of their fourth concert tour, Lisa teases new music from the group.

“We were actually in the studio a few days ago,” she told me on Saturday morning while promoting her new ones Bose Open Collaboration. “We are all so super excited to get back together and go on tour. We really miss the blinking. We can’t wait to see them.”

The K-pop stars will start the Tour on July 5 in Goyang Stadium in South Korea and will complete on January 18, 2026 in the Tokyo Dome in Japan. US stops are Los Angeles, New York and Chicago.

Although speculation has been in overdrive about the possible release of a new album that coincides with the Tour, Lisa confirms that the waiting can end soon. “You have to be patient about it,” said Lisa. “It’s coming soon, I promise. It’s time.”

How did the Bose cooperation arise?

I have been using the earplugs for a long time and I really like the product, so when this came to me, I had something like: “Yes! I would like to do a collaboration.” I wanted something super unique. But we took the time to choose the right color, the logo and everything.

Can you hold your earbuds, or are you like me and do you always lose them?

These earbuds are great because they really stay. I spend so much time, so many hours on an airplane. I put them on and I fall asleep, but when I wake up, they are still there.

Is there still a collaboration that you would like to do?
Speakers and headphones. Bose would be great for that.

What about a collaboration with Labubu? [Lisa is largely credited for starting the Labubu craze after being seen with a big plush of the collectible toy, as well as the smaller bag chain.]

I can’t stop talking about Labubus. I love them for almost a year, but now I can’t really get new labubus. They are really hard to find. I’m a bit sad.

How much do you have?

For the latest collection I only have three or four. I want the whole box, but it’s really hard to get.

What about a Lisa Labubu?

That would be very nice. It would blow up the internet.

Let’s talk about ‘The White Lotus’. Do you think Mook and Gaitok are still together?

I don’t know because he went to Bangkok. It should be a long distance, so we should sort it out.

Where do you think Mook is today?

She recently went to Coachella [laughs]. I don’t think she stays on the island. I think she’s going to Bangkok in one way or another.

Did you talk to Mike White about the next season?

People want to see a mook more. I would like it if I had the chance, but I don’t want to put any pressure on anyone.

Who would you like to go in the studio with Next?

I really want to try EDM, so maybe I can work with some DJs.
